Demolition of Cooling Towers in Mochovce
As part of the demolition of the reinforced concrete construction on cooling towers 12 and 22, preparatory work was first carried out by demolishing two reinforced concrete columns to create an opening for the entrance to the so-called 'pool'. Subsequently, the demolition of the reinforced concrete structure itself was carried out, including the disposal of any waste produced. Approximately 8 000 tonnes of concrete rubble were removed and subsequently crushed as part of this contract.
